Publications

The IEEE Transactions on Molecular, Biological, and Multi-Scale Communications invites the submission of technical manuscripts on topics within the scope of the journal. Manuscripts reporting on original theoretical and/or experimental work and tutorial expositions of permanent reference value are welcome. In general, material which has been previously copyrighted, published, or accepted for publication will not be considered for publication in this journal. Exceptions to this rule include items that have limited distribution, have appeared in Abstract form only, or have appeared only in conference proceedings; notice of such prior publication or concurrent submission elsewhere must be given at the time of submission to this journal. A manuscript identical to, or largely based on, a conference paper must be so identified. All papers are reviewed by competent referees and are considered on the basis of their significance, novelty, and usefulness to the Transactions readership.

A paper is a candidate for an Immediate Rejection if it is of limited novelty, e.g. a straightforward combination of theories and algorithms that are well established and are repeated on a known scenario. Experimental contributions will be rejected without review if there is insufficient experimental data. The transactions are published in English. Papers that have a large number of typographical and/or grammatical errors will also be rejected without review.

By submission of your manuscript to this Transaction, all listed authors have agreed to the authorship list and all the contents and confirm that the work is original and that figures, tables and other reported results accurately reflect the experimental work. In addition, the authors all acknowledge that they accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay all overlength page charges, color charges, and any other charges and fees associated with publication of the manuscript. Such charges are not negotiable and cannot be suspended. The corresponding author of a paper accepts the responsibility for obtaining the consent from all co-authors to be designated, as such as well as their approval of all submitted, revised, and final versions of the manuscript. Failure to do so will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript and may draw further punishment from IEEE.

English language editing services can help refine the language of your article and reduce the risk of rejection without review.  IEEE authors are eligible for a 10% discount at American Journal Experts; visit http://www.aje.com/go/ieee/ to learn more. Please note these services are fee-based and do not guarantee acceptance.

The articles in this journal are peer reviewed in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IEEE PSPB Operations Manual  (sections 8.2.1.C & 8.2.2.A). Each published article was reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers using a single-anonymous peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are not known to the authors, but the reviewers know the identities of the authors. Articles will be screened for plagiarism before acceptance.
