The candidate should have enough flexible time committed to handling papers timely, be able to assemble a responsive editorial team, work closely with them, and shepherd them for timely and high-quality reviews, ensuring conformance to the IEEE publication policy and guidelines. Moreover, the candidate should work closely with the Steering Committee on matters related to journal management and development, ensuring that the Periodical follows the IEEE Policy and Procedures, preparing a report for the IEEE Periodicals Review and Advisory Committee (PRAC) when requested, executing the policies established by the Editorial Board, and maintaining the intellectual integrity, technical rigor, and timely operation of the journal.
