Ender Ayanoglu

Ender Ayanoglu received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University. His past accomplishments include the invention of 56K modems, characterization of wavelength conversion gain in wavelength division multiplexed systems, and diversity coding. He was the recipient of the IEEE Communications Society Stephen O. Rice Prize Paper Award in 1995, the IEEE Communications Society Best Tutorial Paper Award in 1997, and the IEEE Communications Society Communication Theory Technical Committee (CTTC) Outstanding Service Award in 2014. He is the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Green Communica- tions and Networking. He is a member and past Chair of CTTC.
