Jie Li received the B.E. degree in computer science from Zhejiang University, the M.E. degree in electronic engineering and communication systems from Chi-na Academy of Posts and Telecommunications, and the Dr. Eng. degree from the University of Electro-Communications, Japan. He is a Professor with the De-partment of Computer Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University, a professor emeritus in Tsukuba University. His current research interests include big data and AI, cloud computing, blockchain, OS, modeling, and performance evaluation of information systems. He is the Co-Chair of IEEE Technical Commu-nity on Big Data, the Founding Chair of IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on Big Data, and the Co-Chair of IEEE Big Data Community.
