2020 IEEE ComSoc Summer School UK and Ireland Virtual Event

The 7th Edition of the IEEE ComSoc School Series will take place on 17-19 August 2020 completely online. It is being organized by the IEEE ComSoc UK & Ireland Chapter and the University of Glasgow.  The program will consist of lectures by world leading professors, industry leaders and executives who will focus on topics addressing the cutting-edge trends in 5G, IoT, and AI technologies.

This 3-day virtual event is available only to active IEEE ComSoc Student Members and there is no cost to participate.  Interested students must register by 12pm EDT on 14 August 2020.  Seats are limited to the first 150 students who register.  Learn more and register.

IEEE ComSoc Summer School 2019 Recorded Presentations Now Available

The 2019 IEEE ComSoc Summer School was held on 16-19 July 2019 at National Instruments Corporation, Austin, Texas.  The program focused on applications in industries such as commercial cellular wireless service, automotive V2x and autonomy, and defense funded research. There was also a workshop featuring Massive MIMO and mmWave technologies used to create real-world wireless testbeds using Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) techniques.  You can now view a selection of presentations from this event on IEEE.tv as a benefit of your ComSoc membership.

ComSoc's Distinguished Lecturer Program Goes Virtual!

Our Member Services Board and the Member & Global Activities Council have created a virtual Distinguished Lecturer (DL) Program in an effort to continue to offer access to our DL’s valuable content and wisdom.
