Fatemeh Hamidi-Sepehr

Fatemeh Hamidi-Sepehr has been with Intel since 2016, initially focusing on the design and standardization of 5G NR wireless technologies including URLLC and IIoT, and most recently, on the design and development of future cellular systems (6G). During the past three years, she has led and promoted 6G Joint Communication and Sensing (JCAS) efforts at Intel and the pre-standardization eco-system, delivering key design and algorithm solutions. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Tehran, Iran, her M.S. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, and her Ph.D. degree from Texas A&M University, USA, all in electrical engineering. Before joining Intel, she was with Qualcomm Inc. in Santa Clara, CA, USA, working on the design of cellular modems for 3G and 4G technologies
