Haixia Peng is currently a Full Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. She received her Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2017, and the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada, in 2021, respectively. She was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science, at California State University Long Beach, USA, from August 2021 until August 2022. Subsequently, from August 2022 to December 2023, she was an Associate Professor at the School of Information and Communications Engineering, at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. Her research interests are focused on satellite-terrestrial vehicular networks, multi-access edge computing, resource management, artificial intelligence, and reinforcement learning. She serves/served as TPC/Workshor/Session chair and member in IEEE VTC-fall 2016&2017, IEEE ICCEREC 2018, IEEE GlobeCom 2016-2024, and IEEE ICC 2017-2024 conferences, and serves as (Guest) Editor for the Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications and IEEE IoT Magazine.
