Hanna Bogucka is a full professor and the Director of the Institute of Radiocommunications at Poznan University of Technology (PUT). She is also the co-founder, and the Board Member of RIMEDO Labs, a successful spin-off from PUT.
Her research interest is in the area of wireless communications: AI/ML in radio access networks, Open-RAN, 5G/6G systems. She has been leading multiple national, European and industry cooperation projects. She authored 200 research papers, 3 handbooks and 3 scientific monographs.
She was IEEE ComSoc Director of the EMEA Region (2014-2015), elected IEEE RCC Chair (2015-2016), and the member of IEEE Kiyo Tomiyasu Award Committee (2012-2014), IEEE Awards Board (2017-2018) and IEEE ComSoc NEC (2018-2020). Currently, she is the IEEE ComSoc Fog/Edge Industry Community Regional Chair in Europe and the member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2020, she got into the Perspektywy list of Top 15 Women in 5G, published by Forbes.
