Dr. Panteleimon Balis has over 20 years of industry experience and has been an instructor in the area of mobile and wireless communications since 2004. Dr. Balis is a consultant with the Swedish company Teledrom AB, the main global training provider of Ericsson. He has taught hundreds of training courses globally, focusing on GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5G/NR Radio Access Technologies. Moreover, he has a working experience of 6 years in Vodafone Greece. Early in his career, he served in the Hellenic Navy within the Communications Centre of the Headquarters of National Defence, Athens, Greece.
Dr. Balis is an IEEE Member and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. He earned his Dipl. in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, his M.Sc. in Communications and Signal Processing from the University of Newcastle, and his Ph.D. in Mobile Communications also from the University of Newcastle, UK.
