Call for Papers

There is little doubt that standards for wireless and radio communications are having a profound effect on the lives of people and the operation of businesses. Just the cellular industry contributes directly trillions of dollars to the world economy and indirectly leads to significantly increased productivity. The Wireless and Radio Communications series is a platform for all topics broadly relevant to wireless and radio communications standards. The series will include tutorials on, analysis of, and comparisons of emerging or established IEEE and non-IEEE standards, as well as standardization processes, policy, regulatory, economic, business, intellectual property, and social issues. Current topics of interest include:

  • 3GPP standards
  • IEEE 802 wireless standards
  • IEEE 1900 standards
  • Hardware and software architecture standards for radios and RF devices
  • ITU recommendations
  • Spectrum regulations
  • Public safety and military communications standards
