Call for Papers
In the upcoming 6G era, various smart devices with a wide implementation of deep learning techniques and emerging digital twin technologies provide wireless communications empowered by more edge intelligence. Though this new paradigm promotes the development of novel terminals with powerful cognition ability, it brings a great challenging issue to harness the multi-source and multi-dimensional data perception for developing joint sensing, communications, interaction and control services and applications. Specifically, it is a difficult and complex task to integrate intelligent computing and advanced wireless communications for handling the explosion of data collected from physical world and cyberspace, in order to support fast transmission, rapid computation and effective control.
Thus, the future network needs a new intelligent sensing technique to realize fine-grained, high-efficient collection and perception of multi-dimensional data through a non-disturbance fashion. Moreover, in order to achieve accurate data modeling and analysis with low latency, the 6G network require new artificial intelligence (AI) theory and technique. Through intelligent sensing and computing, along with optimized resource scheduling mechanism, the future network will achieve senseless and immersive interaction and visualization.
This Special Issue (SI) aims to discuss a novel design of wireless communication systems, networks, services, and applications for 6G. Especially, it is expected that the submitted content will present and highlight the advances and the latest AI-driven theories, technologies and applications for sensing, interaction, and digitalization in the 6G era. This Special Issue will focus on the following subjects of interest, as well as related issues:
- AI algorithms and applications for perception, interaction, and digital twins
- Theory and technology based on novel wearable devices for 6G application
- Advanced perception technology and system for intelligent services.
- AI-driven cognitive system for perception and interaction
- Digital twin technology for 6G
- Knowledge-based system for constructing 6G virtual space
- AI-driven cognitive theory and method for 6G
- Intelligent network architecture and deployment for 6G
