The RECREA Youth Challenge STEAM 2022 recently took place in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and announced the top student winners whose projects focused on recycling, environmental sustainability, and water filtration. IEEE ComSoc volunteers participated in the event by helping with the review of the students’ projects. This event, which was a collaboration between local government, private and public high schools with support from companies and organizations like IEEE, provided a wonderful opportunity to highlight the innovative projects by students and to inspire the next generation of engineers.
